The one thing I always try to keep constant, no matter the season I'm in, is my faith. Believing that God will hold my hand and that I keep my eyes fixed on Him. Sometimes, it's hard, not because of what you're going through, but because you question why He would let this happen to you.
When I came across the profound and common phrase in the Twi language of the Akan people of Ghana, who are also the source of the Adinkra symbols, "Nyame Nti," which means "By God's Grace," it reminded me so much of the powerful Bible verse, Matthew 6:26-34. Specifically, verse 30: "Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" It's a profound reminder that if God cares for something as fleeting as grass, how much more will He care for us?
